Sweet and Spicy Chicken with Sriracha and Garlic

Who loves an equally delicious and simple weekday meal? I know that I do! And if it has even the slightest asian flare, this girl is happy. So, today I bring you this delicious Sweet and Spicy Chicken with Sriracha and Garlic. It’s a handful of ingredients you probably have in your pantry already, give or take the Sriracha, and takes minutes to whip up!

Sweet and Spicy Chicken with Sriracha and Garlic

Ingredients

For sauce:

  •  1 tbsp olive oil
  • Juice of one lime
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 tbs Sriracha
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

For chicken:

  • 1- 1 1/4 pounds chicken breasts
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil

Mix all ingredients for sauce together in a small bowl, set aside. Cut up chicken breasts into small cubes, toss into sauce pan with olive oil. Cook until browned on medium- high heat. Pour in sauce and lower heat to a low simmer. Allow chicken to coat thickly in the sauce for about 10-15 minutes, while mixing chicken continuously. After, place chicken on a cookie sheet and broil on low in the oven  for 5-10 minutes. Keep a close to eye to keep chicken from drying too much or burning.

Serve with brown rice or choice of side!
