My Favorite Bodysuits

my favorite bodysuits

When the bodysuit craze started about a few years ago, I didn’t know if I’d join it, because I’ve never liked tight or very form-fitting clothes. However, before I knew it I was very into bodysuits. Since I’m a jeans girl, I began wearing all different styles of bodysuits with jeans. I love the sleek and casual combination of the two, especially when paired with looser-fitting bottoms like the cargo pants pictured above. So, today I’m sharing my favorite bodysuits!

The long sleeve black bodysuit I’m wearing above is from amazon and it’s great. I usually never purchased bodysuits unless they have a thong bottom, because I really hate lines showing, but I gave this one a shot because of the good reviews and price. I’m happy to say, you really can’t see any lines and it’s pretty seamless, even in jeans. I love the square neck line and of course the bottom snaps for easy wearing.

This grey short sleeve bodysuit is my second bodysuit purchase from amazon. It fits well too and again I love the square neckline. If you’re very petite in the shoulders, I would consider sizing down. The neckline is a bit wide, but I actually love that about it.

The best bodysuits

I think my first bodysuit was from Abercrombie and it was the long sleeve bodysuit above, except in a ribbed material. I like ribbed details on anything, but I do love the seamless and thicker fabric of the one I’m wearing above, so I’m happy I purchased it too. This body suit also has a wonderful stretch to it, which makes it very flattering as it hugs curves nicely. If you’re broader in the shoulders or have muscular arms, I’d size up as the sleeves are pretty snug.

This is the third bodysuit purchase from amazon and I thought the reviews (4.1 stars & 3,000+ reviews) and price tag were too good to be true for a pack of three. Not the case, as this bodysuit is comfortable and shapes the body nicely. Definitely more snug than all of the other bodysuits I have in this post, but I like that I have the option for a more fitted look in my closet.

Another snatching bodysuit is the one above. It’s a knit material that’s suited more for cooler weather or evenings, so I generally wear it during the Fall and Winter. That being said, the sweater-like fabric is so pretty and feels luxe in person. The shape of this bodysuit is also very flattering. Because it is more fitted, I’d recommend sizing up, I did and it’s still fitted without being too snug.

For a simple bodysuit with a seamless fit, the one above is it. This is actually one of my favorite brands to shop for good, quality basics. I own a few of their bodysuits I’ve bought throughout the past few yeas. I particularly love the neckline of this one and that the white isn’t see-through at all.

BODYSUIT TIPS:

  • I never machine dry my bodysuits, I lay them down flat to dry.
  • I wash them on cold & delicate.
  • If I need to wear a bra with the bodysuit, I prefer to wear bralettes, it always offers a more seamless look. I choose lace ones so that it’s anything peaks out it’s pretty and I don’t mind it.

My favorite bralettes I have in a few colors each:
