This wasn’t an easy list to put together, as I had a year of really good purchases and everything I share with you is something I really like. With that said, this list could have been 3 times in length. So to shorten it to 20 or less things, my qualifiers for My Favorite Purchases from 2022 had to be something that brought me both lots of joy and versatility to wear-from fit, style, quality and/or price.
My Favorite Purchases from 2022
- Overalls and shortalls are my jam and have been for years. There is one place I seem to go back to time after time to get new pairs and that’s Free People. Both #1 and #5 are from there and I just love them. The perfect slouch and great quality after washing tons of of times. They run TTS, I wear an XSmall.
- I actually added a couple of these straight leg high waist jeans, in different washes, to my closet this year. They fit me like a glove and run TTS. I wear a 26S.
- I’ve had a blue wash of these high waist denim shorts for years now and not only are they my best-fitting denim shorts I own but I get so many compliments/questions on them each time I wear them. So I decided to get them in black. They run TTS, I wear a 26.
- Ever since buying this neoprene backpack in the beginning of 2022, I will NEVER travel without. Such a comfortable and smart backpack with tons of compartments and an amazing size to fit so much inside. I can imagine all of the sizes are great, but I have the Large and love it.
- Overalls-see my thoughts at 1 above!
- I got these velvet wide leg pants at the end of 2022 and wore the heck out of them in December. They are SO gorgeous, from the material to fit. I’m wearing a petite 2.
- This rhinestone denim jacket is EVERYTHING. The funnest piece I bought in 2022 and because it’s denim, I’m able to wear it way more often than I thought.
- It doesn’t take you being on my blog or Instagram very long to see I’ve got a thing for wide leg pants. I actually have 3 pairs of these wide leg tailored pants and find them to be an awesome pant option to pair with so many different style of tops. They run small. I’m usually an XSmall in this brand and had to return for a Small and they’re still pretty snug on my butt, but fit perfect everywhere else.
- Without a doubt this fleece denim jacket is my most packed jacket when I travel anywhere cold. It’s comfortable, warm and so versatile. I’ll never travel to cold weather without it.
- Cowboy and western style boots are still going strong and I’m happy about that. These white cowboy boots add a perfect pop of fun to outfits. If white isn’t your color, they’re available in many more.
- I’ve bought so much loungewear and matching sets on amazon over the years and this sweater shorts set I got last year has been the best one yet. The quality is amazing and the fit is so cute.
- I’m so picky with sunglasses, because I have some pretty bad sun damage in my eyes, and I swear by these Oakley prizm tortoise frame sunglasses. So many sunglasses, even when polarized, give me headaches or make me nauseous and these don’t. I love that they’re sporty to wear when I hike, but cute enough to wear with other outfits too.
- These are my 4th pair of converse. All of my other ones are white, so these black high top converse were a perfection addition to my collection.
- The one shoulder dress so nice I bought it twice. It’s available in 25 colors/patterns and is under $50. Runs TTS.
- I bought these Good Luck Trainers solely because of how pretty they are and was hoping they’d be comfortable enough to wear often, but wasn’t banking on to much comfort. To my surprise they are so comfortable with tons of arch support, I’ve worn them entire days and my feet feel awesome.
- I wore my fair share of crop tops this year, which isn’t usually my thing, but I found ways to style them that I love and this $17 crop tank that’s available in tons of colors was by far my favorite. I have three of these.
- The cutest and most comfortable workout shorts. The vibrant neon green is so fun and I just bought them in a second color. They run pretty short, size up if you don’t want your cheeks out.
