I love a good Lychee Martini, but hate when I order one somewhere that is sickly sweet. So creating what I think is the best Lychee Martini recipe that uses actual lychee liqueur helps knock down the amount of lychee syrup needed while still having a strong lychee taste. Also, the addition of a splash of fresh lemon juice helps balance the drink in a delicious way.
Best Lychee Martini Recipe
Serving: 1
Ingredients:
- Can of lychees in syrup
- 2 oz lychee syrup from can
- .5 oz lychee liqueur, I use this one
- .5 oz dry vermouth
- 1.5 -2 oz vodka, depends on the strength you prefer
- .5 oz lemon juice
Directions:
Put a martini glass or coupe in the freezer to get a frosty glass. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, pour all ingredients and then shake vigorously for 10 seconds. (you want it mixed very well and very cold). Take glass out of freezer and pour martini mixture into it and top off with 2 lychees from the can.
