Happy Friday, friends! Probably my most worn bottom when summer rolls in is a skirt. I reach for them over shorts most times because they tend to keep me even more cool during Miami summers and, as a casual girlie who wears mostly sandals and sneakers, slipping into even a casual skirt helps elevate a more laid-back outfit.
A skirt trend I’m loving this summer is the pleated skirt. Not the sporty tennis skirts (love those too!), but more schoolgirl-esque vibes and on the shorter side. Fun!

Side note: I purchased the sandals I’m wearing a couple of months ago and I’ve worn them so many time since. They’re the perfect casual sandal, with a little umph thanks to the platform, that go with everything and are comfy. Oh and they are only $40!
