While I’ve got my fair share of $10 lip glosses and lipsticks, every once in a while I come across a lip product that has so much buzz surrounding it that I’ve got to give it a try. It has nourishing and hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid, mango oil, vitamin E, Moroccan pomegranate and all of this goodness is supposed to stay on your lips for up to 8 hours. I can attest that my lips do feel so soft for many hours after applying it, even if I don’t keep reapplying it.
Let’s talk about what I think it is that makes this Yves Saint Laurent Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick so popular. Besides the beautiful and natural look it gives lips, I think it’s the way the formula feels that separates this lippie from any other that I’ve tried. It’s somehow both lightweight and lush, balmy and glossy. I have it in shade “2-healthy glow plumper”. This shade is pretty much translucent, maybe the slightest bit of pink to it.
So if you couldn’t guess, yes-I think the YSL Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick is worth the hype! It feels like a little bit of luxury for your lips.
FYI: this lip gloss stick is available in 12 shades. I want to get it in “scenic brown” later this year when Fall rolls in.
