February’s Worth the Hype: Pixi On-the-Glow Tinted Moisture Stick

Pixi On-the-Glow Tinted Moisture Stick

I’ve been a fan of Pixi products for many years. Pixi’s affordable prices and cruelty-free products is what first interested me in the brand. Now, years later I continue to use so many of their products because I love the quality and find them to have always some kind of fun element to them. Which leads me to the Pixi On-the-Glow Tinted Moisture Stick.

Pixi’s on the glow stick is offered in blush and bronzer. With so many cream stick blush and bronzer products on the market, when I first tried these by Pixi, I was interested in seeing what could separate them from the rest.

As mentioned previously about the brand, the price point is awesome. At $18, this product comes in at midrange pricing when it comes to bronzer and blush sticks. I’ll preface this review by saying I own these kind of products in the $40 range and in the $10 as well. These Pixi On-the-Glow Tinted Moisture Sticks are by far my favorite when I’m looking for a lightweight, buildable color.

They stand apart from some of my other similar products by not applying aggressively, where it’s too much color too soon. They also blend beautifully and melt into the rest of my makeup. I’ve worn these with just tinted SPF and it gives a lovely, natural everyday look; and I’ve worn these with a more glam look paired with foundation and have been just as impressed with how well they build in color and stay put. Also-sensitive and breakout-prone skin friendly! Which I was worried about, considering they’re categorized as moisturizing, which can often lead to being too oily. I haven’t found that to be the case, but can imagine a thin veil of setting powder could help with that.

I also find they clean well-meaning if they get too much of your other makeup of SPF on them, just a quick and gentle wipe will remove it all-no buildup.

I’ve mixed and matched a few different shades together depending on the season and the current shade of skin.
