March’s Worth the Hype: Dr. Dennis Gross Daily Peel Pads

Dr. Dennis Gross Daily Peel Pads review

I’ve spoken about the Dr. Dennis Gross Daily Peel Pads before in this My Favorite Acid Skincare Products post, but I thought they needed their own post in my worth the hype series since they are indeed a hyped up product. I think I first started using these pads 3 years ago and I haven’t been without them since. In fact, there have been short spans of time where I have forgotten to reorder them and I do notice a difference in my skin during those times.

The Dr. Dennis Gross Daily Peel Pads can be used everyday, but if you’re just starting to use them you can begin with 2-3 times a week. When I first began using them, I was applying them to my skin everyday, because at that time my skin was more breakout-prone and I was really trying to get it in check. Just like so many of the thousands of reviews mention, these pads are particularly great with keeping breakouts at bay. Since then, however, I’ve gotten my skin to a healthier state and now use the pads 2-3 times a week and have found that’s my sweet spot.

Dr. Dennis Gross Daily Peel Pads review

When I first started using these 3 years ago, I noticed a visibly difference in my skin within a week-they work that well and fast. The first thing I noticed was my skin looked overall brighter and within a month I was seeing an improvement in my skin’s texture. My greatest advice is to not rush the application-I’ve seen this done many times online, which isn’t how the treatment is meant to be applied.

Each peel package comes with 2 face pads and you must wait the full 2 minutes between each application for optimal results. If you don’t allow the 1st pad to fully absorb into your skin in those 2 allotted minutes, you’re basically wiping it off before it gets to work.

So, its obvious I think the Dr. Dennis Gross Daily Peel Pads are worth the hype. I do realize they’re pricey, in fact they may be the priciest product in my skincare routine right now. However, I continue to pay for them because they are that good. If you want to try them out, but not ready to fully commit to the higher price tag yet, they offer a $20 starter pack!
