I wore this outfit the other day-I think maybe the last day I could get away with wearing any kind of jacket, since the temperatures have risen…A LOT. We don’t really get “spring” weather here in Miami, it kind of goes from our winter (which is basically cool weather with no humidity) to a rainy season and then scorching heat. That being said, I loved this outfit and enjoyed getting in one more blazer look before it gets too hot. However, I did just purchase a lightweight linen blazer that I think I’ll be able to wear during spring 🤞🏾 If so, you’ll be seeing that soon!

A couple of things in this outfit are pieces I’ve been wearing often and will continue to do this season, so I wanted to share with you several wardrobe basics I’ve been wearing on repeat today!

I have this crop ribbed tank in 5 colors and wear it with pretty much any jeans, pants or shorts. Love that they’re only $16 too!
I recently bought these relaxed fit cargo pants and I can already tell they’re going to be heavy in my outfit rotations. They’re lightweight and comfortable, making them a good pant for warm weather.
I wear button downs so often that I often splurge on them, as the cost per wear evens out for me. However, my tried and true lower-priced button down, at $25, is this one from Target. Whenever they release new colors I usually grab one, but of course the neutrals are always a favorite.
I’ve always loved a muscle tee/tank. That little detail at the cap of the sleeve gives more structure to an otherwise basic tee. This everlane muscle tee is a soft cotton and has a comfortable oversized fit. The price for the quality is great too, it’s $35.
I’ve had these trainers for a year and a half now and they’re still one of my favorite neutral sneakers. Chic and so comfortable with awesome arch support.
You know I love a wide leg pant or jean and once Spring rolls in, I’m wearing my tanks and with wide leg high waist jeans all of the time. These are actually on sale today with an additional 30% OFF at checkout!
Also moved to the front of my closet since the hot weather has arrived are all of my denim shorts. My 501 mid-thigh shorts in particular, I just love the longer length and they fit so well. A perfect mix of snug on the bum and loose on the thighs.
The other shorts I’ve been wearing a lot and will continue to through spring and summer are these linen-blend tailored shorts. I love a tailored short. They can be dressed up or worn casually, but because of their classic look, even when worn casually they have an elevated feel to them-which I love. The price is great too!
One of my favorite sets I’ve ever ordered on Amazon is this linen-blend tank and shorts set. I wear it at home and out and about. I’ve worn it with flat sandals and dressier sandals. It’s a simple and cute set with lots of versatility and the material is lightweight enough to hot weather.
